Lindsay holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University School of Medicine. All behavior makes sense in context. When we can understand how our past experiences influence us, our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors make sense. Using a non-judgmental lens, Lindsay believes therapy is about gaining insight into our patterns and getting curious about them. She aims to help her clients understand how their past experiences, life circumstances and overall health interact with one another to shape how they think, feel and behave. She values authentic and supportive relationships with her clients to fully understand their experience in life. Through self-awareness, curiosity and compassion, Lindsay believes that her clients are innately capable of long lasting change. Lindsay uses a systemic and integrative approach to explore, discuss, question and challenge thoughts and feelings as well as create goals. In collaboration with clients, Lindsay addresses people within the context of their relationships, whether past or present. Above all, feeling seen, heard and understood is what Lindsay hopes her clients take away from therapy. Outside of the therapy room, you can find Lindsay exploring new restaurants, visiting new cities with family, learning about whales (her favorite!) or spending quality time with her fiancé and their dog Duke, a Great Dane - Lab mix. |
